Special touches, such as celebratory sparkler candles for birthdays and complementary chocolate shots, add to the charm.
The shark dip and creamy mussels receive enthusiastic praise as must-try starters. Not to forget, the pandan crème brûlée has earned fans for its delightful twist on a classic dessert, leaving many eager to return for another serving. Customers also appreciate the clean facilities that include thoughtful extras like mouthwash and toothpicks.
A few patrons mention the size of the gloves provided for the seafood boils, indicating they can be a bit too large for comfort. Some guests also note that the pricing is on the higher side, particularly for larger seafood boils. While many find the experience to be worth every penny, those on tighter budgets may feel the pinch.
Another common concern is the popularity of the restaurant, which leads to significant wait times during peak hours, especially on weekends. Those looking for a quieter experience may want to plan their visit during less busy times.
If i could rate this any more stars out of 5 I would - food was amazing (ordered the medium boil with some extras for 6 of us and it was amazing). We went for an 18th birthday and they came in with sparkler candles on the boil with the music turned up while saying happy birthday - made it into a great celebration! They also checked up on us a lot and made sure everything was great. Serving times were good as well, not too long, and they even gave the birthday girl and her sister (whoever else could drink) complementary chocolate shots and offered offered her a change in drinks when she didn’t have a lot of the first one. Credits to Rana for serving us well and would definitely recommend this to others :) Pandan crème brûlée is the best dessert i’ve ever had.
5* I visited this restaurant with my husband for our anniversary dinner. I’ve had many seafood boils but this one has been my favourite purely because it is so flavourful with its Vietnamese twist. We got the medium boil for £100 and it was more than enough for the both of us. We also got the crab dip to start which was INCREDIBLE, honestly it’s a must! The drinks are super tasty and the brûlée is lovely to finish with too. I would 100% recommend and return! Thank you to the lovely girls who served us, they were both super lovely, helpful and friendly. X
We went to Cajun Boil for a birthday and it was such a fun experience! The service was impeccable - the staff were super attentive and there was even a bell where you could request their service. We even asked for extra lychees in our cocktails and they happily accommodated our request. Loved all the little touches too including things like mouthwash, toothpicks and sanitary towels in the w/c. The only minor thing was the gloves for the seafood boil were a bit too big, and prices are on the pricier side.. but honestly, it was great vibes & defo a fab place to celebrate a special occasion. Highly recommend 🤍✨
Been a loyal customer since before it became a restaurant and I’m so glad it finally is one! The food is absolutely delicious! I’ve had other seafood boils (even from overseas), and they did not compare to The Cajun Boil. The food was hot, flavourful and hits the spot every. single. time. I recommend any boil, but order extra creamy Cajun sauce, and the cheesy crab dip. The fries were crispy too! And get a couple baby cucumbers - as it adds a bit of freshness to the meal. They’re even cute enough to offer peeled or not peeled shrimps - but you need to get shells on as the head is where the flavour is at! The pandan cocktail was divine! And the lemon tea was soothing. They do offer hot drinks, dessert and alcohol on the menu as well. I believe there is halal and vegetarian options as well, which is great! Our waitress was really attentive and sweet. The restaurant is open and well decorated. The attention to detail of the brand - down to the gloves and even the takeaway boxes was such a cute touch. We didn’t have to wait for a table as I booked in advance. But service was quick too! If you like seafood, delicious food and good vibes, come here. Thank you The Cajun Boil! I will be back again soon!
Amazing food, amazing service and amazing atmosphere. The starters right down to the desserts were so delicious. I would recommend getting the crab dip and the wings as starters. The seafood boil sauce was garlicky, slightly sweet and filled with flavour. I lived every part of it. They also have tooth picks and mouth wash in their toilets which is a great touch.
Hey guys ☺️ So first , I called ahead to make sure they had a table for 5 people but it’s not mandatory. We got there and they greet us immediately, nice music, they showed us the menu , we chose our drinks and starters. Then we chose the main food , we decided to creat our own seafood boil since we wanted to separate the halal sausages from the pork sausages. Everything was perfect, they give you gloves and an apron, you can ask for a Bucket if you want . In total we spend 43£ each for 5 people , some people might think it’s pricey which is understandable however for the food , service and the ambiance it’s totally worth it personally. Now the pink lemonade was so good , the starters better and the seafood boil even better 🎉 they even have complementary shots if I am correct. The place is clean and let me tell you , the bathroom as disposable mouth wash and toothpick . Big shout out for the staff , they are great and specially Nara . Definitely going back and I recommend ♥️💋
Have been meaning to try here for the longest and we finally got round to it for a big group to celebrate a birthday - we had 20 of us and the whole experience was great. We were able to have everything off the menu and standouts were the creamy mussels, wings and the seafood boil itself. But save space for the dessert because the crème brulee and mango sticky rice is so good! Staff were great and attentive (esp for such a large group) and food came out in such a swiftly manner. Would 10/10 recommend!
